Bison Utility Accessories' latest products are the bolt-on bumpers for the 2006-2007 Outlander 400, 650 and 800 ATVs. Many of the new bumpers are available with extra headlight bars for added protection, informs ATVenture's Marketing Director Skipp Fowler. The bumpers come with all mounting hardware, require no ATV modification for installation and are powder coated to match the existing ATV's rack color, adds Fowler. The trend he notices is clients making their ATV look even better with products that give the maximum amount of protection. Sales for ATV bolt-on accessories for the company are up, he explains. ATV dealers need to know there is a demand and people are willing to invest in ATV protection and ATVenture makes it easy and profitable for dealers to sell ATV accessories, Fowler informs.
The Yamaha Raptor 700 body plastic kits are the latest from Fullbore Innovations, reports General Manager Grant Hebblom. The kit offers sleeker styling with a choice of seven different colors: black, white, red, orange, yellow, silver and blue, all of which are pearl or candy colors except the white and black, adds Hebblom. The great selection of new quads creates new customers for bolt-on accessories, notes Hebblom, which might explain Fullbore's increased sales over the past year. The kits come complete with mounting hardware and applicable directions and Fullbore offers a 25-30 percent dealer margin, he concludes.
McDonald ATV accessory sales have increased with the addition of several great products, professes General Manager Tony Runions. Their massive inventory of hard shell ATV luggage from the Economy to the Super Deluxe Pick-Up style is top-notch, he declares. It keeps items dry, you don't have to strap it down and more are installing sound systems in their box, explains Runions. To dealer/retailers he has this advice to give: the dealers who put accessories on an ATV sell them. Those who put them on the wall do not.

The Honda Oxlite Brush guard was redesigned to extend the coverage to the outer boot for maximum protection, announces Sales Director Tim Landry. For $60 retail, an ATV enthusiast can buy steel Oxlite Brush guards that cover the a-arm, inner and outer boots, or for $80, Oxlite offers the same styles in diamond plate and aluminum, describes Landry. The redesigned Honda Brush guards are partially attributed with the increase in sales for Oxlite, he informs. Dealer/retailers should keep in mind Oxlite recommends a 35 percent markup for their Brush guards, said Landry.

Larson tells us he has noticed a trend in the increased offshore product competition. These winches are manufactured with all metal gears, not plastic like some brands, he said. Camouflage pattern accessories seem to be a strong force in the market right now, Wood explains. The Mossy Oak and Real Tree names have been helpful in establishing and growing the Wood Power Winch name and, with their increasing popularity, Wood reports sales have continued to rise tremendously over the past year.
