Updated 5/1/07 NEW PIPES FROM SUPERTRAPP
SuperTrapp Industries has announced the release of the MudSlinger for ATVs. The MudSlinger is a rugged exhaust, with a polished stainless steel outer body and an aluminum end cap that not only looks cool, but will hold up to the abuse that aggressive ATV riders can dish out, SuperTrapp states, noting the mechanical core offers a dramatic increase in torque and throttle response. Equipped with a removable USFS-approved spark arrestor, the MudSlinger has an aggressive tone, yet is 96db and forestry legal, according to the company, which notes it utilizes Pillow Pack packing for the ultimate in durability along with superior silencing and an optional deep water fording kit is also available. All models of the MudSlinger come complete with clear instructions and all hardware that eliminate guesswork by lending bolt-on power right out of the box for Honda, Yamaha, Kawasaki, Suzuki, Arctic Cat and BRP models, SuperTrapp says. Warn Industries has introduced a new line of winches - RT Rugged Terrain and XT Extreme Terrain - that the company says deliver the performance and features customers demand. The traditional Warn workhorse amenities are all there - including patented mechanical disc brakes and all-metal, three-stage planetary geartrains and housings, centered winch drums, reduced amp draw for longer use - but these winches also feature an all-new look and color-coded wiring for easy installation, according to the firm, which notes several patents are pending on the new models. The new models are compatible with existing Warn mounting kits, the firm states, and coincide with the release of Warn's new remote, wireless winch controls. For more information, visit www.warn.com. GROUNDHOG DAY
Monroe Tufline has announced the addition of the GroundHog disc as its newest product in an extensive line of attachments for the ATV and utility vehicle market. The GroundHog's compact design makes it ideal for sportsmen and gardeners alike, the firm reports, noting it's lightweight enough for one man to carry and easily flips over for easy transport behind your ATV or utility vehicle. Built to be durable enough for the sportsman market, the GroundHog reportedly will plow anywhere your ATV will go and will also plow in reverse for working in tight places. The 40-pound GroundHog is virtually maintenance-free and its size allows for easy storage, Tufline states. Tufline says further: Its innovative design is a breakthrough in size-to-power ratio and it attaches directly into a receiver tube on most ATVs. The weight of the ATV forces the GroundHog into the ground ensuring an aggressive cut. It has adjustable plowing depths and flips over for transport behind the ATV, eliminating the need for extra trailer space to and from the site. It utilizes 8-inch, high-strength 1060 grade disc blades with 3/4-inch tapered roller bearings. It has a cutting width of 21 inches. The axle is 3/4-inch, stress-proof steel welded to a heavy 2-inch steel tube adjustable frame. For more information, visit www.monroetufline.com. |
