Big Bike Parts debuts new Aluminum Reinforced Brush Guards from Prairie Dog. In a press release, BBP says “these guards protect hands from scratches due to tree and shrubbery interference while ATV riding. Reinforced with aluminum provides added safety in keeping young saplings off the hands and grips.” We’re told the set comes with all necessary mounting hardware, and the pair of brush guards—available in black or olive—fits most ATVs with exposed handlebars. Saying they’re “a stock replacement for a much lower price than original equipment,” Rick’s Motorsport Electrics introduces their brand-new starter motors for the Grizzly 600 (1998-2001), the Grizzly 660 (2002-2006), the Kodiak 400 (2000-2002), the Kodiak 450 (2003-2006) and the Rhino 660 (2004-2006). Company president Richard Shaw tells us “we are happy to add this new Yamaha starter to our ever-growing product line; it’s a very affordable alternative to a factory part replacement.” According to Shaw, the new starter motors—which do not require a core exchange—come with a one-year warranty and are available directly from Rick’s Motorsport Electrics and their distributors. Propelled by the possibilities of their new Lake Elsinore, Calif. facility, Rocket Exhaust tells us they’re introducing a new line of four-stroke ATV and motorcycle exhaust systems “with world-class performance, quality manufacturing and unequalled profitability,” according to their press release.
